Sunlu PLA Matte Filament Light Green — PLA 1.75 mm for FDM 3D Printers
Sunlu PLA Matte Filament Light Green is a 1.75 mm PLA filament intended for FDM/FFF 3D printers. It delivers a low-gloss, matte surface that reduces visible layer lines and produces visually refined parts with a soft, tactile finish. The material balances an attractive appearance with reliable layer and bed adhesion, making it suitable for visual models, prototypes and decorative components.
The filament provides a smooth matte finish that diminishes layer visibility and can present a slightly metallic look. It offers stable dimensional control with a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm and good roundness for consistent extrusion. The 1 kg spool (approx. 330 m) prints with low shrinkage, minimal nozzle clogging and no air bubbles, while the manufacturing process reduces tangles and breaks during printing.
This PLA variant is not intended for high-temperature applications — its Vicat softening temperature and heat deflection temperature are around 53–54 °C, so it may deform if exposed to sustained heat above that range. It is also not suitable for applications requiring very high impact resistance or extreme mechanical loads compared with engineering-grade polymers.
Load the filament into a compatible FDM 3D printer with a 1.75 mm feed path and use typical PLA printing temperatures. A heated bed is recommended; set bed temperature in line with PLA settings for your printer and apply any standard adhesion aid if needed. Print speeds and retraction settings should be tuned for matte PLA to avoid stringing while preserving surface quality. Store the filament vacuum-packed and dry when not in use to maintain optimal print performance.
For best results, print Sunlu PLA Matte at standard PLA nozzle temperatures for your machine, use a heated bed and moderate print speeds; adjust retraction to reduce stringing and keep the filament dry between prints to preserve surface quality and dimensional consistency.
