Sunlu PLA Filament Rainbow 04 is a multicolor PLA spool for FDM 3D printers with a 1.75 mm diameter. The filament provides gradual rainbow color transitions roughly every 8 meters, while offering stable extrusion, low shrinkage and consistent dimensional accuracy for decorative prints, prototypes and visual models. PLA is easy to print and suitable for users from beginners to more experienced makers.
The filament delivers smooth, visually appealing color transitions that give models a striking multicolor appearance without additional post-processing. With a stated dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm and uniform diameter, the material supports reliable filament feed and minimizes printing issues such as clogging or inconsistent extrusion. Compatibility with most FDM printers makes it a convenient choice for many common desktop machines.
This filament is not intended for high-temperature mechanical applications or parts that require food-contact certification. The multicolor gradient is optimized for visual effect rather than exact color matching, so it may not be suitable where precise uniform color or strict color placement is required.
Load the 1.75 mm Sunlu PLA Rainbow spool into a compatible FDM 3D printer and use standard PLA printing settings: a nozzle temperature typically between 190–220 °C and a heated bed at 0–60 °C as required by your printer and model. Ensure the filament path is free of tangles and perform a short extrusion test to confirm consistent flow before starting a full print. Adjust print speed, retraction and cooling based on part geometry to achieve the best surface finish and color transitions.
