Filament Sunlu PLA Transparent (Rainbow) 01 — PLA 3D printing filament, transparent multicolor
Sunlu PLA Transparent (Rainbow) 01 is a transparent multicolor PLA filament designed for general-purpose FDM/FFF 3D printing. The filament produces visually striking translucent prints with regularly changing rainbow colors approximately every 8 metres. It offers smooth feeding, low shrinkage and good interlayer adhesion to deliver stable, high-quality results suitable for decorative items, prototypes and artistic projects.
The filament provides consistent dimensional accuracy (±0.02 mm) and a uniform diameter for reliable extrusion and fewer print issues. Its color transitions are natural and harmonious, producing attractive gradient effects without compromising print quality. Compatibility with most desktop FDM printers and standard PLA settings makes it accessible for both beginners and experienced users.
This translucent rainbow PLA is intended primarily for aesthetic and visual applications; it is not formulated for high-temperature or mechanically demanding functional parts where engineering plastics are required. If exact, single-colour consistency is critical for a project, the regular color changes (every ~8 m) may be a limitation.
Print using standard PLA settings on your FDM/FFF printer. Typical printing temperatures and speeds for PLA apply; calibrate nozzle temperature, bed adhesion and retraction to your machine and model. Monitor the first layer to ensure good adhesion and consistent extrusion. Because the filament is translucent, layer lines and internal structures may be visible depending on print thickness and settings.
For best visual results, use moderate layer heights and consider light sanding or clear coating for smoother, glossier finishes; store the filament in a dry place to preserve print quality.
