TPU 95A Filament by Sunlu — Flexible 3D Printing Material, Black, MPN TPU 95A B
Sunlu TPU 95A is a flexible thermoplastic polyurethane filament in black, designed for FDM 3D printing. With a Shore hardness of 95A it balances elasticity and strength, providing high elongation at break, good tensile strength and resistance to abrasion. The filament has a precise diameter tolerance to ensure consistent feeding and print quality and is compatible with most printers that support TPU materials.
The filament combines high elasticity with mechanical strength, allowing printed parts to absorb shocks and return to shape without permanent deformation. Its uniform structure and tight diameter tolerance reduce nozzle clogging and support steady extrusion. Optimized printing parameters and low moisture sensitivity when stored correctly make it suitable for reliable, repeatable results across prototypes and functional end-use parts.
This material is not ideal for applications requiring rigid, high-stiffness parts or structural components that must bear high static loads without flexing. Very fine detailed prints or extremely high-temperature applications above the material’s heat deflection temperature may produce suboptimal results.
Load the filament into a printer compatible with flexible materials, use a direct drive or optimized Bowden setup to ensure smooth feeding, and set the nozzle and bed temperatures according to the chosen print speed range. Adjust print speed and retraction settings to minimize stringing and ensure layer adhesion. Store unused filament in an airtight container with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake; if the filament absorbs humidity, dry it at 50°C before printing.
For best results, print at recommended temperature ranges with moderate speeds, use reduced retraction, and ensure consistent filament feeding. Use a brim or suitable bed adhesion aid for larger parts and dry the filament if moisture-related printing issues appear.
