Sunlu Wood (clone) 1.75 mm — Wood Map is a wood-filled PLA filament formulated for FDM 3D printers. The material blends PLA with real wood particles to produce prints that mimic the appearance and surface texture of natural wood. With a visible wood grain effect and a subtle matte finish, this filament is intended for decorative items, figurines, prototypes and any projects where a wood-like aesthetic and post-processing options such as sanding or staining are desired.

How to use

Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM 3D printer and set the nozzle temperature around the specified melting temperature, adjusting within the printer’s usual PLA range to optimise surface finish and detail. Use a moderate print speed to preserve wood grain appearance and reduce stringing. Bed adhesion can be achieved with standard PLA bed preparations such as blue tape, glue stick or a heated bed set to typical PLA temperatures. After printing, parts can be sanded, stained or treated with clear finishes to enhance the wood-like look.
