How to use

Select the filter that matches current lighting: lower-number filters (ND8) for mildly bright conditions and higher-number filters (ND64) for very bright sunlight. Power on and stabilize the drone, then attach the chosen filter to the Mini 5 Pro lens according to the filter’s mounting method. Check exposure settings in the camera app and adjust shutter speed and aperture as required to achieve the desired motion blur or depth of field. Swap filters when lighting changes and store unused filters in their protective case to prevent scratches.

Usage recommendations

When recording video, use the 180-degree shutter rule as a starting point (shutter speed ≈ 2× frame rate) and choose ND strength to reach that shutter speed in bright conditions. For long-exposure photos, use a stable hover or ground-based mounting and start with ND16–ND32 for moderate blur; increase to ND64 for very bright scenes. Always inspect the filter for fingerprints or dust before flight and keep a microfiber cloth in your kit.
