Neutral Density (ND) Filter Set Sunnylife for DJI Action 6 — ND8/16/32/64
Neutral Density (ND) Filter Set Sunnylife for DJI Action 6 — ND8/16/32/64
Neutral Density (ND) Filter Set Sunnylife for DJI Action 6 — ND8/16/32/64 is a four-piece filter set designed to control exposure and motion rendering when shooting with the DJI Action 6 camera. Each filter reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor by a specific amount (ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64), enabling correct exposure in bright conditions, slower shutter speeds for natural motion blur, and improved control over highlights in both video and still photography. The filters use precision optical glass with multi-layer coatings housed in a slim metal frame for a stable fit that preserves the camera's field of view.
The Sunnylife ND set provides consistent light reduction across the frame, helps maintain natural color reproduction thanks to anti-reflective and transmission coatings, and supports long-exposure techniques and cinematic video shutter control. The slim metal mounting minimizes vignetting and ensures a secure, repeatable fit. Protective surface treatments increase resistance to water, grease and minor scratches, extending service life and making field cleaning easier.
Attach the chosen ND filter to the DJI Action 6 lens until it clicks into place, selecting the density that matches ambient light and the desired shutter speed. Use ND8 for mild light reduction and lower shutter speed adjustments, ND16 or ND32 for brighter conditions and more pronounced motion blur, and ND64 for very bright sunlight or long-exposure effects. When swapping filters, handle the glass edges and keep the optical surface clean to avoid fingerprints and dust. Remove the filter by gently pressing and releasing the mount mechanism before sliding the filter away from the lens.
When shooting video, set shutter speed roughly double the frame rate (180-degree rule) and choose an ND filter that allows that shutter speed without overexposure. For long-exposure stills, use progressively stronger ND filters to achieve the required exposure time; bracket exposures if necessary. Store filters in a protective case when not in use and clean with a microfiber cloth and appropriate optical cleaner to preserve coatings and image quality.
