How to use

Prepare the surface by cleaning, degreasing and lightly sanding. Apply a primer or base coat if required for adhesion and colour contrast. Stir the paint before use and apply an even layer with a brush, sponge or cloth; allow to dry between coats. To achieve crackle effects, apply the crackle medium over the fully dried base coat, wait until it becomes tacky according to the medium’s drying behaviour, then apply a contrasting top coat of chalk paint. As the top coat dries, fine cracks will form revealing the underlayer. After the crackle effect has fully developed and dried, sand or distress as needed and finish with a suitable protective wax or varnish if increased durability is required.
