The cable uses 50/125 µm OM3 multimode fiber with SC connectors on both ends in a duplex configuration, suitable for linking switches, servers, storage area networks and patch panels where OM3 performance is required.

This OM3 multimode patch cable provides reliable optical transmission for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at short to medium distances and is constructed with a 3.0 mm outer diameter jacket and PVC coating for mechanical protection.
