HDMI Cable Techly ICOC-HDMI-HY2-030 30m
The Techly ICOC-HDMI-HY2-030 is a 30 m active high-speed hybrid HDMI cable that combines copper and fiber conductors to provide a lighter, more flexible cable suitable for long-distance connections and installations in confined spaces. It features HDMI Type A connectors with gold-plated contacts, supports HDMI 2.0 bandwidth (up to 18 Gbit/s) and transmits UHD/4K video (max 3840x2160 and 4096x2160 @60Hz) as well as Full HD and lower resolutions. The cable also supports Deep Color, HDCP 2.2, EDID, CEC and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Note that the cable is unidirectional and must be connected with the correct orientation using the 'source' and 'display' labels on the connectors.
The hybrid construction with copper and fiber conductors reduces weight and increases flexibility compared with full-copper cables, making routing easier in tight installations and over long distances. Active signal conversion preserves high-quality audio and video up to 4K@60Hz without degradation, while gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. Built-in support for HDCP 2.2, EDID and CEC maintains compatibility with modern sources and displays.
Identify the HDMI connector marked 'source' and plug it into the video source (Blu-ray, media player, satellite receiver, PC, etc.). Plug the connector marked 'display' into the television, projector or monitor. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input. If required, configure display resolution on the source device to a supported mode (for example 3840x2160@60Hz for UHD). Because the cable is active and unidirectional, reversing the connectors will prevent signal transmission.
For best results, avoid sharp bends and tight kinks along the 30 m run; maintain gentle radii when routing the cable. Verify source and display firmware supports HDCP 2.2 for protected 4K content. When installing in fixed infrastructure, label both ends and test the connection before finalizing concealment.
