Video Signal Converter Techly IDATA-HDMI-EA
The Techly IDATA-HDMI-EA video signal converter extracts the audio signal from an HDMI source and converts it to analog RCA (SPDIF + R/L) while passing the HDMI video to a display. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and multiple video modes including 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. The compact black unit measures 84.5 x 61.8 x 21 mm and weighs 0.135 kg, and operates from 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz.
The converter provides simultaneous HDMI video output and analog audio extraction without affecting video resolution, offers broad compatibility with common video formats, and includes both RCA stereo and SPDIF outputs for connection to a variety of audio systems. Its small size and universal input voltage make it suitable for integration in both home and professional AV setups.
Connect the HDMI source (for example a set-top box, media player or console) to the converter's HDMI input, then connect the HDMI output to your TV, monitor or projector. Use RCA cables to connect the R/L outputs to stereo speakers or an amplifier, or use the SPDIF output for a digital audio receiver. Power the unit from a suitable 100–240 V mains outlet. The converter will pass video to the display while providing extracted analog and digital audio to your chosen audio equipment.
For reliable audio and video performance, use high-quality HDMI and RCA cables and ensure the source device is set to an output resolution supported by the converter (up to 1920 x 1080). If audio sync issues occur, verify connections and the audio output settings on the source device.
