Adapter cable TECHLY IDATA-VGA-HDMINI — VGA to HDMI + 3.5 mm audio, black
TECHLY IDATA-VGA-HDMINI is an adapter cable that converts an analog VGA video signal to a digital HDMI output while providing a separate 3.5 mm audio input. The compact black adapter plugs into a computer or notebook VGA port and provides an HDMI output (via a standard HDMI cable) suitable for connecting to HD TVs, LCD monitors or projectors. Audio is carried separately through the 3.5 mm jack, enabling connection of external speakers, headphones or an audio input on the display.
The adapter converts analog VGA video to HDMI without requiring an external power supply in typical use, since it draws power from the VGA port. It supports simultaneous transmission of video (through HDMI) and audio (through the 3.5 mm jack) when connected. The compact design and black finish make it easy to integrate with existing AV setups, and the included Micro USB cable allows optional external power from a USB source when additional power is needed.
Insert the adapter's VGA connector into the VGA output of your notebook or PC. Connect a standard HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI output to the HDMI input of the TV, monitor or projector. Plug an audio cable into the adapter's 3.5 mm audio jack and connect it to the display's audio input or to external speakers or headphones. If the source VGA port cannot supply sufficient power, connect the included Micro USB cable to a USB power source to ensure stable operation. After connections are made, set the display to the corresponding HDMI input and configure the computer's display settings if necessary.
For best results use a high-quality HDMI cable and ensure the VGA source resolution matches a resolution supported by the target HDMI display. If image or audio issues occur, try enabling the external USB power with the included Micro USB cable. When connecting projectors or TVs, select the correct HDMI input and adjust output resolution on the source device to avoid scaling artifacts.
