Grinding Wheel for Stone Techniflex INCOFLEX 125 x 6.0 mm M278-125-6.0-22C24R
Techniflex INCOFLEX grinding wheel M278-125-6.0-22C24R is a 125 x 6.0 mm abrasive disc engineered for shaping, grinding and dressing natural and engineered stone. Designed to fit standard angle grinders with a 22 mm bore, this wheel features a C24R grit configuration intended to provide controlled material removal and a balanced surface finish on granite, marble, sandstone and composite stone panels.
The wheel combines a narrow 6.0 mm thickness for precise edge work with an abrasive composition optimised for stone applications. Its size and bore make it compatible with common handheld grinders, enabling straightforward replacement and secure mounting. The C24R grit distribution offers a compromise between cutting speed and surface smoothing, allowing both shaping and initial finishing tasks to be completed with a single disc.
This disc is intended specifically for stone materials and may deliver reduced performance on metals, wood or masonry different from natural or engineered stone. For very aggressive stock removal, deep cutting, or precision polishing to high-gloss finishes, specialised blades or polishing systems may be more appropriate than this grinding wheel.
Fit the grinding wheel to an angle grinder with the matching 22 mm arbor, ensuring the grinder is unplugged or the battery removed during installation. Tighten the mounting nut securely according to the grinder manufacturer’s instructions and confirm the wheel is free of cracks or defects before use. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed range and apply steady, even pressure across the stone surface; avoid excessive force that can cause glazing or premature wear. Use adequate cooling or intermittent passes on heat-sensitive materials and clean the surface between passes to check progress.
Wear appropriate PPE including eye and respiratory protection, gloves and hearing protection. Work in a well-ventilated area, secure the stone piece, and inspect the wheel before each use. For best results, start with light passes to establish the profile, then progressively increase contact to achieve the desired surface. Replace the wheel if any damage or excessive wear is observed.
