Flap Disc Techniflex INCOFLEX M436-125-22Z80BNR P80 125 mm
The Techniflex INCOFLEX M436-125-22Z80BNR P80 125 mm flap disc is an abrasive tool designed for grinding, blending and surface finishing tasks. With P80 grit and a 125 mm diameter, this flap disc is suited for use on angle grinders where controlled material removal and shaping are required. The 22 mm bore ensures compatibility with many common grinder spindles and the flexible flap construction conforms to irregular surfaces for consistent finish quality on metal and other substrates.
This flap disc combines durable abrasive grains with a flexible backing that maintains abrasive contact across curved and flat surfaces. The P80 grit delivers a balance between stock removal and surface refinement, helping to reduce the number of passes needed for weld cleaning, deburring and edge preparation. Its 125 mm size offers a good working area while remaining manageable for angle grinder handling.
This flap disc is not intended for heavy form cutting or where aggressive material removal at high metal removal rates is required; coarse grinding wheels or dedicated cut-off wheels are more appropriate for those tasks. It is also not a substitute for polishing abrasives when a mirror finish is required, as P80 grit leaves a visible surface texture that may need finer abrasives to refine.
Install the flap disc on an angle grinder that accepts a 125 mm disc with a 22 mm bore, following the grinder manufacturer’s mounting instructions and safety procedures. Use appropriate rotational speed within the disc’s allowed range and apply light to moderate pressure, allowing the flaps to wear evenly for consistent performance. Move the grinder steadily across the workpiece to avoid gouging; for welds and burrs, work at an angle that maintains surface contact while controlling heat buildup. Always wear suitable personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection.
For best results, start with light passes to assess removal rate and surface finish, then adjust pressure and travel speed. Replace the disc when flap wear reduces cutting efficiency or causes uneven finish.
