The Technoline WL 1020 Silver AC/Battery Indoor Thermometer Hygrometer is a compact indoor air quality monitor that measures temperature, humidity and volatile organic compounds (TVOC) to help assess room climate. It displays air quality with a five-star symbol system across 11 levels and shows ventilation recommendations with coloured background lighting. The device runs on AAA batteries or via the included USB adapter; to save battery power, air quality is displayed only while the USB adapter is connected.

Advantages

The built-in mixed-gas (VOC) sensor continuously monitors indoor pollutants and provides analysis and ventilation prompts based on measured values. How to use

Place the WL 1020 on a flat surface in the room to be monitored, away from direct sunlight and heat sources for accurate readings. Power the device with AAA batteries or connect the included USB adapter to enable continuous air quality display; when running on batteries, the air quality indicator is deactivated to conserve power. Read the air quality level from the star symbols and follow the coloured backlight for ventilation guidance: yellow indicates ventilation is recommended, red indicates ventilation is strongly recommended. Use the display to view current temperature, humidity and trend indications, and set the clock and alarm as needed.

Usage recommendations
