Socket outlet BNC Telegärtner J01001A1219
The Telegärtner J01001A1219 Socket outlet BNC is a panel-mount BNC jack designed for reliable signal, data and video connections. It supports the common BNC bayonet coupling mechanism and is intended for use in professional AV and RF installations where a compact, durable 50/75 Ω coaxial interface is required. The connector has a mounting depth of 27 mm and comes in a black finish suitable for various equipment panels.
The BNC design provides quick bayonet coupling for secure mating up to 4 GHz and is compatible with both 50 Ω and 75 Ω systems. This socket outlet follows standard BNC construction practices, allowing use with flexible, conformable and semi-rigid coax cables and with common termination methods such as crimp and clamp. Versions of this connector family permit through-hole PCB mounting by solder or press-fit techniques, and mating face sealing for plug and jack (mated) meets IP54 classification for protection against dust and splashing water.
Install the socket outlet into the panel cutout and secure it according to the equipment’s mounting instructions. Terminate the chosen coax cable (flexible, conformable or semi-rigid) using an appropriate crimp or clamp method compatible with BNC terminations. Mate a corresponding BNC plug by aligning the bayonet lugs, inserting and twisting to lock. For PCB-mount versions, follow the printed circuit board through-hole soldering or press-fit process required by the specific variant.
Ensure you match impedance (50 Ω or 75 Ω) across the transmission path to avoid signal reflections. If exposure to dust or moisture is expected, confirm the specific connector variant’s environmental ratings and consult Telegärtner documentation or support for detailed sealing and mounting guidance.
