The Teltonika FMC130 Car Black is a compact vehicle GPS tracker designed to provide reliable real-time positioning and wide cellular connectivity. Weighing 55 g and finished in black, the FMC130 supports 4G (LTE Cat 1) with 3G and 2G fallback, internal GNSS and LTE antennas, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi (802.11b/g/n). Built on the proven FMB platform, this device retains core tracking functions while adding improved network coverage, configurable inputs and outputs, an impulse input for accurate fuel flow measurement, and a backup battery for continued operation during short power interruptions.
The FMC130 combines compact size with extended connectivity: LTE Cat 1 ensures faster and more reliable data transfer while UMTS and GSM fallback maintain coverage where 4G is unavailable. Integrated GNSS and LTE antennas reduce installation complexity. Configurable negative and analogue/digital inputs, an impulse input for fuel flow meters, and three programmable DOUT outputs allow flexible integration with vehicle sensors and actuators. Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi expand local connectivity options for configuration and short‑range communication. The internal backup battery preserves device operation and data integrity during temporary power loss.
Install the FMC130 in the vehicle following the manufacturer’s mounting recommendations and connect the power supply to the vehicle wiring. Use the negative input and analogue/digital inputs to attach sensors such as door contacts, seatbelt switches or alarm buttons. Connect an impulse fuel flow meter to the impulse input for precise fuel consumption monitoring. Configure device parameters, reporting intervals and DOUT behaviours via compatible Teltonika configuration tools over Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi or remote configuration channels. Ensure the SIM card with data plan supports LTE Cat 1 and is active before deployment.
Place the device where it has a clear view of the sky for GNSS reception and where cellular signal is not obstructed by metal enclosures. Calibrate impulse fuel meters and test DOUT scenarios during initial setup. Keep firmware up to date and verify backup battery status during routine maintenance to ensure continuous tracking and accurate telemetry.
