Wireless Access Point TELTONIKA TAP200 2.4/5 GHz, 867 Mbit/s, 2 antennas, PoE, 1x Gigabit LAN, white
TELTONIKA TAP200 is a compact dual‑band Wi‑Fi 5 access point operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a combined maximum data rate of up to 867 Mbit/s. The unit includes two external antennas, one Gigabit Ethernet (RJ‑45) port with PoE‑in support and a UV‑stabilised white housing with an integrated mounting bracket for ceiling or wall installation. TAP200 provides standard enterprise‑grade wireless security and management interfaces suitable for business and home networks that require reliable coverage and centralized PoE deployment.
The TAP200 delivers dual‑band performance with Wi‑Fi 5 Wave‑2 technology and fast roaming capabilities to maintain stable client connections in medium‑density environments. A single Gigabit LAN port with Power over Ethernet simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter by delivering power and data over one cable. Security options include WPA/WPA2/WPA3 suites, AES‑CCMP and EAP methods, while HTTPS/SSH management enables secure remote administration. The device’s compact form factor and integrated mounting bracket allow quick, discreet placement in retail, office or residential settings.
Mount the TAP200 using the integrated bracket on a ceiling or wall where it can provide unobstructed coverage. Connect a Cat5e/6 cable from a PoE switch or injector to the RJ‑45 port to power the device and provide network access. Access the web management interface or use secure SSH to configure SSIDs, security settings (WPA2/WPA3, EAP), radio parameters and roaming options. Optionally register the device with RMS management if centralised monitoring and configuration are required.
Place the access point centrally relative to client devices and avoid large obstacles or metal structures to maximise coverage. For best throughput on 5 GHz, position the TAP200 where line‑of‑sight to clients is feasible and use Gigabit Ethernet backhaul. Use WPA3 or WPA2 with AES‑CCMP where supported by client devices, and enable fast roaming if clients and controllers support 802.11r to improve handover performance.
