Tesa 4952 indoor fastening tape in white is a double-sided adhesive tape designed for mounting and fixing lightweight items on smooth indoor surfaces. The roll is 5 m long and 19 mm wide with a tape thickness of 1.15 mm. The product is formulated to provide strong initial tack and a durable bond on materials such as painted walls, glass, metal and many plastics, and it maintains performance up to temperatures of 80 °C and offers high elasticity with 200% elongation at break.
The tape delivers reliable adhesion on smooth substrates with a compact profile suitable for discreet fixing. With 1.15 mm thickness and high elongation, it combines flexibility and strength for applications that require some movement or slight deformation. Its temperature resistance up to 80 °C supports indoor environments where brief exposure to elevated temperatures may occur. The white color provides an unobtrusive finish in visible indoor installations.
Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose paint before application. Cut the required length of tape, remove the liner and press the tape firmly onto one surface. Remove the remaining liner (if applicable) and press the mating surface firmly against the tape with consistent pressure for several seconds to ensure good contact. Allow the adhesive to develop full strength over the following hours; avoid exposing the joint to load or moisture immediately after bonding.
Best performance is achieved on smooth, non-porous substrates at room temperature. Avoid application to rough, powdery or damp surfaces and do not use outdoors or for critical structural loads. For heavier items or long-term outdoor use choose a product designed for those conditions.
