The testo 435-1 multi-function climate measuring instrument is the entry-level version for adjusting and testing ventilation and air conditioning systems and for assessing indoor air quality. It accepts a range of attachable probes for measurements such as CO2, CO, air temperature, air humidity, absolute pressure, radiant heat and air velocity. With the optional radio module, up to three wireless temperature probes can be connected for measurements up to 20 meters (without obstruction). The unit features probe-dependent menus and selectable user profiles for typical tasks, a backlit display showing current, min, max and mean values as well as dew point distance, and a sturdy housing for protection against impacts.

How to use

Select and attach the appropriate probe(s) for the measurement task, choose the corresponding user profile or probe-dependent menu, and read values on the backlit display. For wireless temperature measurement, install the optional radio module and pair up to three radio probes; position radio probes within the specified range. For volumetric flow measurements, use the recommended anemometer type (thermal for duct temperature/humidity combination, small-diameter vane for duct velocity, large-diameter vane with funnels or straightener for outlet measurements). Use the fast printer for immediate documentation when required.
