USB cable Tether Tools CUC15RT-ORG 4.6 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Orange
USB cable Tether Tools CUC15RT-ORG 4.6 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Orange
The Tether Tools CUC15RT-ORG is a 4.6 m (15 ft) USB-C to USB-C right-angle cable that uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) technology to provide consistent and reliable conductivity and data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s. Designed for tethered photography and videography, the cable features right-angle USB-C connectors that route neatly along the side of a camera without adapters, allowing a secure fit and unobstructed shooting.
This USB cable offers a right-angle USB-C connection on both ends for a low-profile fit at the camera port, reducing strain and keeping the connection out of the photographer’s way. With USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance it supports fast transfers up to 5 Gbit/s and provides reliable conductivity for tethered workflows. The high-visibility orange jacket improves cable management and makes the cable easy to locate on set.
Connect one right-angle USB-C end to the camera’s USB-C port and the other end to the computer’s USB-C port. Route the cable along the camera body so the right-angle connector hugs the side of the camera, preventing the cable from obstructing access or creating stress on the port. No adapters or dongles are required for USB-C to USB-C connections. Ensure both camera and computer are powered on and set to the appropriate tethering or file-transfer mode in camera settings or tethering software.
Use the cable in environments where visibility and quick identification matter; avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not expose the cable to excessive heat or moisture. For maximum transfer reliability, keep firmware and tethering software up to date on both camera and computer.
