TFA 30.3062 is a wireless freestanding indoor/outdoor temperature sensor system with an LCD display that provides threefold temperature monitoring. The kit contains a base station, one wireless temperature transmitter, an additional waterproof cable transmitter, and a user manual. The compact base unit (116 × 24 × 126 mm) is powered by AAA 1.5 V batteries and displays current, maximum and minimum temperatures for the internal sensor, the wireless outdoor transmitter and the cable probe. The system supports connection of up to eight transmitters to cover multiple locations indoors and outdoors.

How to use

Install AAA 1.5 V batteries in the base station and in each transmitter according to the manual. Place the base station on a flat surface indoors where the display is clearly visible. Position the wireless outdoor transmitter in the desired outdoor location and mount or place the waterproof cable transmitter where temperature monitoring is required, for example inside a refrigerator, aquarium sump or near a pool. Follow pairing instructions in the manual to register each transmitter with the base station. Readings for current, maximum and minimum temperatures are shown on the LCD and update automatically as sensors report new data.

Usage recommendations

For accurate indoor readings, keep the base station away from direct sunlight, heating sources and drafts. Place the outdoor transmitter in a shaded, ventilated spot protected from direct precipitation. Regularly check battery status and replace AAA batteries when low to ensure uninterrupted temperature logging. Use the waterproof cable transmitter for wet or refrigerated applications only where a cable probe is suitable.
