The TFA Meteotime Primo is a compact digital weather station that combines local measurements with professional regional forecasts. Its monochrome LCD displays indoor temperature and humidity along with wireless outdoor readings from up to three transmitters. The device receives multi-day weather forecasts via the DCF77 time signal for many European regions and shows day/night forecasts, expected maxima and minima, rain probability, wind strength and wind direction. Additional functions include a radio-controlled clock, alarm options and a max/min recall with trend indicators. Housed in a black case and powered by AAA alkaline batteries, the unit is designed for home or office monitoring.
The Meteotime Primo provides both measured local data and professional regional forecasts, allowing comparison between on-site conditions and predicted weather. Wireless outdoor transmission supports up to three remote sensors for flexible placement outside. Forecasts are updated several times daily and include warnings for critical conditions such as freezing wetness, snowfall and fog; text warnings are available in multiple languages. Integrated clock and alarm functions support different wake times for workdays and weekends and include a frost alert option that can trigger an earlier alarm.
Install AAA alkaline batteries into the main unit and into outdoor transmitters if supplied. Place the outdoor transmitter(s) in sheltered but well-ventilated positions outside, within the typical transmission range toward the indoor display. Select the appropriate weather region on the station to receive regional forecasts via the DCF77 signal and allow the device to update; forecast data refreshes several times per day. Read indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values on the LCD; use the max/min recall and trend indicators to observe changes over time. Set the radio-controlled clock and program alarm times for workdays and weekends as required.
To ensure accurate outdoor readings and reliable wireless reception, mount transmitters away from direct sunlight, heavy precipitation and strong sources of radio interference. For best forecast performance, choose the nearest matching weather region on the device and allow initial synchronization time for the DCF signal. Replace batteries in the main unit and transmitters as soon as low-battery indicators appear.
