Analogue weather station TFA 45.2043.51 — plastic housing, 120×68×120 mm
Analogue weather station TFA 45.2043.51 features a compact plastic housing with dimensions 120×68×120 mm and provides mechanical measurement of temperature and humidity without requiring a power source. The device combines a thermometer and a hygrometer with a synthetic-hair movement for precise, continuous monitoring of indoor or sheltered outdoor conditions. Designed for wall mounting or tabletop use via the integrated stand, it is manufactured in Germany and intended for unobtrusive placement in homes, offices or other indoor spaces where basic climate information is needed.
The analogue display uses a synthetic-hair movement, offering stable, accurate readings of temperature and relative humidity without batteries or electrical connection. Colour-coded comfort zones on the scale help interpret measurements quickly, enabling targeted adjustments to heating and ventilation. The plastic housing is lightweight and durable, while the compact footprint and integrated stand allow flexible placement on walls or desks. The instrument’s mechanical design reduces maintenance and ensures long-term, reliable operation.
Mount the instrument on a wall at eye level or place it on a flat surface using the integrated stand. Position it away from direct heat sources, windows with direct sunlight and drafts for representative room readings. Read the temperature and relative humidity directly from the analogue scales; use the colour-coded comfort range to assess whether ventilation or heating adjustments are needed. No power connection or batteries are required — the synthetic-hair movement operates mechanically to indicate humidity levels.
For reliable measurements, install the weather station in the main living area at least 1–1.5 metres above the floor and avoid placing it near radiators, air conditioners or kitchen stoves. If rapid changes in humidity are expected (for example after showering or cooking), allow a few minutes for the instrument to stabilise before taking corrective action based on the readings.
