The TFA-Dostmann KÜCHEN-CHEF TWIN digital food thermometer provides precise temperature control for cooking meat, poultry and other dishes with a measuring range of 0 to 300 °C. The compact device features two stainless steel sensor probes and a wireless transmitter that sends measured values to the main unit, allowing simultaneous monitoring of oven or grill chamber temperature and the core temperature of up to two pieces of roast or BBQ meat. The instrument is battery powered (AAA), has a clear digital display and a compact housing suitable for kitchen use.
The KÜCHEN-CHEF TWIN offers dual-probe monitoring so you can track the cooking chamber and core temperatures at the same time. Wireless transmission from the transmitter to the main unit enables remote monitoring while you are away from the oven or barbecue. The stainless steel probes are suitable for insertion into roasts or meat cuts and the wide 0–300 °C range covers typical cooking and grilling temperatures. Its compact size and digital display simplify storage and reading.
Insert the stainless steel probe(s) into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bones. Place the second probe in the oven or on the grill if you wish to monitor chamber temperature, or use both probes for two meat pieces. The transmitter sends temperature data wirelessly to the main unit; set the desired core temperature or upper/lower chamber limits on the main unit. When the programmed temperature is reached or limits are exceeded, the device notifies you with an audible beep. Replace AAA batteries as needed and store the unit and probes clean and dry after use.
For accurate readings, insert the probe tip into the centre of the meat and avoid touching bone or fat. Pre-program desired core temperatures according to the type and doneness of meat, and verify probe placement before starting cooking. Clean probes after each use and keep the transmitter within its wireless range of the main unit for reliable communication.
