The TFA-Dostmann PALMA liquid environment thermometer lets you monitor water temperature remotely and view room temperature at the base station. The floating pool transmitter measures temperature down to 120 mm depth and transmits readings wirelessly to the base unit. The transmitter also has its own local temperature display. The compact base station stores maximum and minimum values and shows current room temperature at its location. Up to two additional pool transmitters can be connected as optional extras.

How to use

Place the floating transmitter on the water surface so the sensor reaches approximately 120 mm depth. Position the base station indoors within wireless range to receive temperature readings. Read the current water temperature on either the transmitter display or the base station screen. Use the base station buttons to view stored maximum and minimum values when needed. Replace batteries with 1.5 V AAA cells as required.

Usage recommendations

Install the base station away from large metal objects and other strong wireless sources to ensure reliable transmission. For best accuracy, allow the floating sensor to stabilise in the water before taking readings and check batteries regularly.
