The TFA-Dostmann Prio temperature and humidity sensor monitors indoor climate at its installation site and, via a wireless outdoor transmitter, the external temperature at the transmitter location. The transmitter is placed outdoors in a protected spot and sends temperature data to the freestanding base station. The unit displays temperature, humidity, and stored maximum/minimum values, and it receives current time and date via the DCF-77 radio signal. The set includes a base station, a temperature transmitter and an instruction manual.

Advantages

The wireless design allows simultaneous monitoring of room climate and outside temperature without cables. Temperature and humidity are shown on the display and maximum/minimum values can be recalled with a button press. A DCF-77 synchronized clock ensures correct time and date. An outside temperature alarm can be programmed to warn of frost or extreme heat, and the alarm features a snooze function. The device runs on standard AA (1.5 V) batteries and has a compact footprint for flexible placement.
