Temperature & humidity sensor TFA-Dostmann 30.3302.02
The TFA-Dostmann 30.3302.02 Temperature & humidity sensor is a freestanding outdoor sensor designed to monitor ambient temperature and relative humidity. It connects to the WeatherHub system (requires the WeatherHub gateway, sold separately) and transmits measurements via 898 MHz to enable remote access through the WeatherHub app or the WH Observer web platform. The compact sensor runs on a single AAA 1.5 V battery, features a built-in display, and stores measurement data for up to 18 months. It supports a wide measurement range (temperature up to 110 °C) and is suitable for continuous environmental monitoring as well as temperature checks of cooling or air-conditioning equipment when used with a professional cable sensor.
The sensor offers remote monitoring from smartphone and browser, adjustable alarm limits with notifications, and additional app features such as graphical views, max/min function and data export. It provides high accuracy across a large temperature range and maintains a long internal memory for historical data. Integration into the WeatherHub ecosystem enables professional use and centralized data access.
Install a single AAA 1.5 V battery and place the sensor outdoors in a sheltered, ventilated location away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Pair the sensor with the WeatherHub gateway (sold separately) following the gateway’s pairing instructions to enable transmission to the WeatherHub app and WH Observer platform. If monitoring cooling or air-conditioning equipment or liquids, connect an appropriate professional cable sensor to the device according to the cable sensor’s instructions. Configure alarm limits and notification settings in the WeatherHub app or web platform and use the app functions to view graphs, export data and check max/min values.
Place the sensor in a sheltered position to avoid direct solar radiation and precipitation; replace the AAA battery promptly when low to ensure continuous data logging; ensure the WeatherHub gateway is within range for reliable 898 MHz transmission.
