The TFA-Dostmann AirCO2ntrol 5000 monitors indoor air quality by measuring CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity. Designed for use in rooms with many occupants such as schools, offices and public buildings, the device helps to identify stale or contaminated air so that ventilation can be carried out in a timely and energy-efficient way. The unit includes a data logger function that stores measurements on the supplied micro‑SD card for later evaluation.

How to use

Place the AirCO2ntrol 5000 in the room where occupancy and air exchange need to be monitored, away from direct vents or heat sources. Connect the device to mains power using the supplied micro‑USB cable. Configure the measurement interval and alarm threshold via the device menu according to the room size and expected occupancy. Read current readings and historical graphs on the display; insert the supplied micro‑SD card to enable continuous logging. Transfer the CSV file to a computer for detailed analysis using spreadsheet software.

Usage recommendations
