Screw Extractor Set Top Tools 14A105 for Broken Screws M3.3–M19, 5 pcs
The Top Tools screw extractor set 14A105 includes five extractors designed to remove broken, rounded or seized screws and studs sized from M3.3 to M19. The set provides a compact selection of hardened extractors suited for workshop, maintenance and repair work on machinery, automotive components and household items. Each extractor is shaped to bite into damaged fastener material and allow controlled turning to back out screws that cannot be removed with conventional drivers.
The set covers a practical range of metric screw sizes in one compact kit, reducing the need for individual purchases. Hardened construction and tapered geometry improve grip in damaged heads and studs, while the varying sizes increase compatibility with common fastener diameters. The compact set is portable and easy to store in a toolbox, making it convenient for on-site repairs and routine maintenance.
Select the extractor closest in size to the damaged fastener. If necessary, drill a small pilot hole into the center of the damaged screw head to provide a starting point for the extractor. Insert the extractor into the hole or position it against the damaged head, then apply steady counterclockwise torque using an appropriate wrench, tap holder or screwdriver shank as recommended for your extractor type. Work with controlled force to allow the extractor to bite into the damaged material and turn the fastener out. If resistance is high, alternate between applying penetrating lubricant and light tapping to free the fastener before continuing extraction.
Use the extractor set with appropriate personal protective equipment and suitable tools; avoid excessive force that could further damage the workpiece. For hardened or high-torque fasteners, consider using heat or penetrating oil to ease removal and prevent breakage of the extractor.
