Hose Clamp Topex 37D502, worm gear type, adjustable diameter 10–16 mm
TOPEX Opaska ślimakowa 10-16mm 37D502 is a zinc-plated steel worm drive hose clamp designed for securing hoses, pipes and flexible tubing with diameters in the 10–16 mm range. The clamp features a slotted band and a captive screw mechanism that allows for precise tightening and reliable clamping force. Its compact size and corrosion-resistant coating make it suitable for use in confined spaces and mild environmental conditions where a small, durable fastening solution is required.
The worm drive design provides consistent, adjustable clamping pressure while the zinc plating offers basic corrosion protection for indoor and semi-exposed applications. The slotted band enables even distribution of force around the hose, reducing the risk of leaks. The captive screw head simplifies installation and prevents the screw from falling out during assembly or maintenance. The small 10–16 mm diameter range allows use on narrow hoses and tubing that larger clamps cannot accommodate.
Select a clamp sized to fit the hose outer diameter within the 10–16 mm range. Slide the clamp over the hose end, position the hose on the fitting or barb, then move the clamp into place so the band sits evenly around the hose. Turn the screw clockwise with a screwdriver to tighten the band until the hose is firmly secured but not over-compressed. To remove, turn the screw counterclockwise until the band loosens and can be slid off. Ensure the clamp is seated squarely and re-tighten if necessary after initial operation or pressure testing.
For reliable performance, avoid overtightening which can damage soft hoses; tighten until a secure seal is achieved. Use clamps of this size only on hoses within the specified diameter range, and inspect periodically for corrosion or wear if used in humid or outdoor environments.
