Hose Clamp Topex 37D506, stainless steel W2, 25–40 mm adjustable
Hose Clamp Topex 37D506, stainless steel W2, 25–40 mm adjustable
Topex 37D506 is a worm-drive hose clamp designed in W2 stainless steel construction with an adjustable diameter range of 25–40 mm and a 9 mm wide slotted band. The clamp secures hoses, pipes and flexible ducts to fittings by converting torque from the worm gear into uniform radial pressure along the band. Its W2 stainless steel materials provide improved corrosion resistance compared with plain steel, making the clamp suitable for general repair, plumbing and automotive tasks where a compact, adjustable fastening is needed.
The hose clamp combines a slotted band and worm-drive mechanism for consistent tightening and reliable sealing. Its stainless steel W2 components resist rust in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor environments, while the 9 mm band width balances strength and flexibility for small to medium hose diameters. The adjustable 25–40 mm range allows a single clamp to fit multiple hose sizes, reducing the need for exact-size inventory. The construction offers straightforward installation with a standard screwdriver or nut driver.
Position the clamp around the hose and seat the hose onto the fitting so the band sits evenly over the connection. Slide the clamp into place and tighten the worm-drive screw clockwise using a suitable screwdriver or nut driver until the band applies uniform pressure without deforming the hose. Avoid over-tightening; stop when the hose is firmly held and the connection is leak-free. To remove or reposition, loosen the screw counterclockwise until the band can be slid off the hose.
For best results, choose the clamp size so the connection is within the 25–40 mm range and avoid applying excessive torque. Inspect clamps periodically in exposed environments and replace if signs of severe corrosion or thread wear appear. For highly corrosive or marine applications, consider a higher corrosion-resistance class than W2.
