Hose Clamp Topex 37D507, hose clamp W2, adjustable 32–50 mm
Topex 37D507 is a W2 stainless-steel hose clamp designed to secure hoses and pipes with diameters from 32 to 50 mm. The clamp uses an adjustable worm-drive mechanism that provides controlled tightening and firm grip on rubber, silicone or reinforced hoses. Its W2 corrosion-resistant construction combines a stainless steel band with a zinc-plated housing, making it suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor applications where moderate corrosion protection is required.
The worm-drive design allows for precise adjustment across the 32–50 mm range, accommodating a variety of hose thicknesses and fittings. The stainless-steel band resists deformation under torque, while the W2-class components reduce the risk of rust in typical plumbing and automotive environments. The clamp is quick to install and can be reused when loosening and retightening are necessary during maintenance.
Place the clamp around the hose end and slide the hose onto the fitting or pipe. Position the clamp so the band sits evenly over the hose and the worm housing aligns with the screw access. Turn the screw clockwise with a screwdriver or nut driver until the hose is firmly seated and no leakage or movement occurs. To remove or adjust, turn the screw counterclockwise until the band loosens enough to slide off or reposition.
For reliable sealing, select the clamp so the hose diameter falls within the 32–50 mm range when assembled. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage to softer hose materials; tighten until the hose is secured and then check for leaks under operating conditions. Inspect clamps during routine maintenance and replace if the band or screw shows signs of significant wear or corrosion.
