The TOTOLINK X2000R is a tabletop dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) router designed for home and small office use. It supports simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with a combined maximum data rate of up to 1501 Mbps, Gigabit Ethernet ports and four external antennas to extend coverage and maintain stable connections.
Wi‑Fi 6 (IEEE802.11ax) provides higher throughput, increased network capacity and improved efficiency while remaining compatible with previous Wi‑Fi standards. With OFDMA and MU‑MIMO technologies the X2000R handles multiple devices concurrently, reducing congestion and latency. The router also features adaptive WAN/LAN ports for flexible cabling, Band Steering to optimise device connections, EasyMesh support for unified whole‑home coverage and Gigabit WAN/LAN ports for high‑speed wired connections.
Connect your Internet line to any of the router's network ports (adaptive WAN/LAN) and power on the device. Use the web interface or the router's setup utility to configure the Wi‑Fi name (SSID), password and security (WPA2). Place the router centrally for best coverage; the four external antennas and beamforming will direct signal toward connected devices. For mesh coverage, enable EasyMesh on compatible TOTOLINK nodes and use the same SSID for seamless roaming.
For optimal performance, connect bandwidth‑sensitive devices (media players, gaming consoles, PCs) to the Gigabit LAN ports when possible, enable Band Steering to prioritise 5 GHz connections for dual‑band devices, and place the router away from large metal objects or sources of interference.
