TOYA Flo 28612 Saw Blade — Jigsaw / Scroll Saw / Reciprocating Saw, 1 pc
TOYA Flo 28612 replacement saw blade is supplied as a single-piece blade designed for use with jigsaws, scroll saws and reciprocating saws where a compact blade is required. The blade is intended for general-purpose cutting and for replacing worn or damaged blades during tool maintenance. Its construction and geometry make it suitable for straight and reverse cutting motions common in compact saw applications.
The blade is made from high-carbon SK5 steel with a PTFE coating for reduced friction and smoother cutting. Teeth are inductively hardened and sharpened on three sides, which provides cutting capability in both directions and improved wear resistance. With a blade hardness of 50–52 HRC and tooth hardness of 56 HRC, the blade balances toughness and edge retention for everyday cutting tasks.
Install the TOYA Flo 28612 blade according to the jigsaw, scroll saw or reciprocating saw manufacturer’s blade-mounting instructions, ensuring the blade is correctly oriented for the intended cutting direction. Confirm that the blade is securely clamped before starting the tool. Use appropriate cutting speed and feed pressure for the material being cut to avoid overheating or premature wear. Replace the blade when cutting performance declines or teeth become damaged.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when changing and operating the blade. For best results, match the 6 TPI tooth density to the material: lower-density teeth for faster rough cuts in soft materials, and controlled feed for cleaner edges. Store the blade in its holster to protect the cutting edge when not in use.
