Hand saw TOYA Flo 28630, blade length 150 mm, single-piece
TOYA Flo 28630 is a compact hand saw with a 150 mm blade intended for precise, short cuts in woodworking, trimming and repair tasks. The single-piece supply and folding design make it convenient for transport and on-site use. The saw’s PTFE-coated SK5 high-carbon steel blade with three-sided sharpened teeth enables cutting in both directions for controlled, accurate results in detailed work and hobby projects.
The PTFE coating reduces friction and helps protect the blade from corrosion while the SK5 high-carbon steel construction delivers edge retention appropriate for detail cutting. Three-sided teeth geometry allows effective cutting on push and pull strokes, improving control and reducing the need to reorient the workpiece. The rubberized TPR handle provides a secure, non-slip grip for safer handling and finer control during delicate operations.
Open and lock the folding saw before use, ensuring the blade is fully seated and stable. Position the saw at the desired cutting line and use steady, controlled strokes; the three-sided teeth cut on both push and pull, so maintain even pressure to achieve a clean cut. For precise or delicate work, support the workpiece and make several light passes rather than forcing a single deep cut. After use, clean debris from the blade, fold it closed and store in a dry place.
For best results, use the saw on small sections and mark cutting lines clearly. Keep the blade clean and lightly oiled after cleaning to preserve the PTFE coating and prevent corrosion. Replace the saw if teeth become excessively worn or damaged; do not use a bent or compromised blade.
