Masonry chisel TOYA 35450, length 215 mm, single piece
Masonry chisel TOYA 35450, length 215 mm, single piece is a one-piece hand tool designed for controlled chiselling, cutting and shaping of brick, stone and mortar. The chisel features a carbon steel body with a black lacquered finish and an 18 mm hexagonal shank, offering a compact total length of 215 mm and a 50 mm blade width. Supplied as a single unit, it is intended for manual demolition, masonry repairs and detail work where accurate material removal is required.
The tool combines a durable carbon steel 45# construction with a protective black lacquered surface to resist corrosion and wear in typical jobsite conditions. An 18 mm hexagonal shank improves grip and reduces slipping in hand-held use or when used with compatible holders. A two-component hand guard provides added protection for the user during striking and repetitive work. The compact 215 mm length and 50 mm blade width make the chisel suitable for both precision tasks and moderate material removal.
Hold the masonry chisel by the shank with the two-component hand guard positioned between the striking face and your hand to reduce the risk of injury. Place the blade edge against the work surface at the required angle and strike the shank with an appropriate hammer or mallet to remove material in controlled blows. For precision work, use lighter, more frequent strikes; for faster material removal, use firmer strikes while maintaining correct control and alignment.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and ear protection. Inspect the chisel before use for signs of excessive wear, cracks or deformation. Do not use the chisel if the handle guard is damaged or if the shank is bent. Store the tool in a dry place to preserve the black lacquer finish and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
