Yato YT-33961 jigsaw/scroll saw/reciprocating saw blade 1 pc(s)
The Yato YT-33961 jigsaw/scroll saw/reciprocating saw blade is a single cutting blade intended for use with compatible power saws. Supplied as a one-piece pack, this blade is designed for cutting lightweight masonry materials such as ceramic hollow blocks, aerated (cellular) concrete and silicate blocks when working on partitions with thicknesses around 240 mm or 360 mm. The blade form and tooth geometry suit plunge and flush cuts when paired with a reciprocating or saber-saw tool, enabling controlled removal of material and faster progress on site.
The blade offers a practical solution for tradespeople and installers who need to cut masonry block materials without switching to heavier, dedicated masonry cutters. Its compatibility with common jigsaw/reciprocating-saw mounts makes it simple to install and replace. When used with an appropriate reciprocating or saber saw, the blade improves cutting speed and accuracy for vertical and horizontal partition work and reduces manual effort compared with hand tools.
Fit the blade into the compatible saw according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the blade is securely clamped and oriented for the required cutting direction. Mark the cut line on the masonry block and support the material to prevent movement. Use steady, controlled strokes with the saw, applying light forward pressure and allowing the blade to do the cutting. For plunge or flush cuts, start with a pilot notch if necessary and progress slowly to maintain accuracy. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment — eye protection, gloves and dust mask — and manage dust extraction where possible.
To achieve the best results, use this blade with a reciprocating or saber saw that provides stable speed control and, if available, variable speed settings. Replace the blade when cutting efficiency declines or if visible wear or damage appears. Avoid excessive bending or forcing of the blade to prevent breakage and ensure longer service life.
