Access Point TP-Link Omada AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac
The TP-Link Omada AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac wall-plate access point provides combined 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless coverage with a maximum aggregated throughput up to 1167 Mbit/s. Designed for in-room deployment, the slim white housing integrates into hotel rooms, offices, dormitories or healthcare facilities while offering advanced authentication and encryption including WPA and 802.1x RADIUS. Support for Power over Ethernet (802.3af/802.3at) and four Gigabit Ethernet ports (one uplink + three downlink, with PoE pass-through on one downlink) enables flexible wired connections and simplified installation without additional AC wiring.
The compact 15 mm wall-plate design minimizes visual impact while delivering MU-MIMO dual-band performance for concurrent device connections. PoE support reduces installation complexity by powering the access point and compatible downstream devices over existing Ethernet cabling. Full Gigabit ports allow wired devices such as VoIP phones or media players to join the network at high speed, and centralized management via Omada Cloud Controller or the Omada software/app enables remote configuration, monitoring and real-time management.
Mount the access point in a standard wall plate location and connect the uplink Gigabit Ethernet port to your PoE-capable switch or injector. If needed, use the downlink PoE pass-through port to power a downstream device. Configure network SSIDs, security settings and authentication (including RADIUS if required) through the Omada Software Controller, the OC200 hardware controller or the Omada cloud portal. Use the Omada mobile app for guided setup, monitoring and firmware updates.
Place the device in each room to provide isolated, private Wi‑Fi networks per room and maintain even coverage; avoid installing the unit behind large metallic objects or inside deep recessed enclosures to prevent signal attenuation.
