Tabletop Router Mercusys AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 5
The Mercusys AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 5 tabletop router delivers combined wireless speeds up to 1167 Mbit/s (300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz) and four Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast wired connections. Designed for home and small-office use, this black router supports up to 60 simultaneous wireless devices, four external 5 dBi antennas for wider coverage, and features IGMP Proxy/Snooping and VLAN support for improved IPTV streaming. Security is provided by WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
Dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 provides dedicated channels for everyday tasks and bandwidth-intensive activities, while four Gigabit LAN ports ensure high-speed wired performance. The router supports up to 60 connected devices simultaneously and four external antennas improve signal strength and coverage. Built-in IGMP Proxy/Snooping and VLAN features optimize IPTV delivery. The device is CE and RoHS certified.
Place the router centrally in the coverage area and connect it to your modem using an Ethernet cable to the WAN/Internet port. Power on the unit and open the router's web-based setup page using the instructions provided. Choose the desired SSID and password for each band, select security settings (WPA2‑PSK recommended), and configure any IPTV VLAN or port forwarding as needed. Connect wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports and wireless devices to the appropriate SSID.
For best performance, position the Mercusys AC1200 on a shelf or table away from large metal objects and other electronics. Use the 5 GHz band for HD streaming and gaming, and the 2.4 GHz band for basic internet tasks and longer-range connections. Regularly update the router firmware and use WPA2‑PSK for secure access.
