Router TP-Link ARCHERC20V1 Dual-band 2.4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi Standard
The TP-Link Archer C20 (ARCHERC20V1) is a dual-band Wi‑Fi router that supports the 802.11ac (Wi‑Fi 5) standard and provides simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connections for combined wireless bandwidth up to 733 Mbps. It includes external antennas for extended omnidirectional coverage, Fast Ethernet ports for wired devices, and a USB-enabled sharing option for printers, files and media over the local network or via FTP.
Supports the 802.11ac standard for higher throughput and compatibility with older Wi‑Fi generations. Dual‑band operation separates everyday tasks on the 2.4 GHz band from bandwidth‑intensive uses on the 5 GHz band to reduce congestion. External antennas improve signal stability and coverage across larger spaces. A USB port allows sharing of a printer and network storage or remote access via FTP.
Connect the router to your modem via the WAN port and power it on. Use the web interface or the TP‑Link setup utility to complete initial configuration: choose the appropriate operation mode, set SSID and wireless passwords for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and configure WAN settings as provided by your ISP. Attach wired devices to the LAN ports and connect USB storage or a printer to the USB port for network sharing. Place the router centrally to maximize coverage.
For best performance, assign routine tasks (email, browsing, smart home devices) to the 2.4 GHz network and high‑bandwidth activities (HD streaming, gaming) to the 5 GHz network; keep firmware updated and position the router away from large metal objects and other electronics that may cause interference.
