How to use

Connect one Deco unit to your modem via Ethernet and place the second unit in a central location to extend coverage. Power on both units and follow the TP‑Link Deco app instructions to create a single Wi‑Fi network name (SSID). Choose Router mode for a primary network or Access Point mode to integrate with an existing router. For faster backhaul between units, connect them with Ethernet cables where possible; otherwise they will form a wireless mesh automatically.

Usage recommendations

Place Deco units on open shelves or elevated surfaces away from large metal objects and microwaves to reduce interference. For best performance, position units where signal must pass between floors or through thick walls and add additional Deco units to expand coverage as needed.
