How to use

Mount the EAP610 on a ceiling or wall using the included mounting kit and connect it to your network switch or PoE injector via the Gigabit Ethernet port. For PoE installations, supply 802.3at PoE+ power through the Ethernet cable; alternatively, use the DC input. Adopt the access point into the Omada Controller (hardware or software) or the Omada Cloud to configure SSIDs, security settings, captive portal options, and mesh topology. Use the controller interface to monitor performance, apply firmware updates, and manage multiple sites from a single dashboard.

Usage recommendations

Place the access point centrally in the coverage area and avoid metal obstructions. For high client density locations, enable OFDMA and MU‑MIMO, configure multiple SSIDs as needed, and use Omada Mesh to extend coverage to areas that are difficult to cable. Use WPA3 where client devices support it to improve security.
