How to use

Install the EAP770 on a ceiling or wall using the supplied mounting kit and connect a PoE injector or a 12 V DC supply to the DC‑in jack if PoE is not available. Connect the Ethernet uplink to the RJ‑45 port (supports up to 2.5GbE). Use the web‑based management interface or supported controller to perform initial configuration, firmware updates and enable features such as SSIDs, VLANs, QoS and band steering. Place access points to provide overlapping coverage for mesh mode if required.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, enable automatic channel selection and band steering, position the AP centrally for intended coverage, and use VLANs and QoS to separate and prioritise critical traffic. Respect regional transmit power limits when configuring output levels.
