Optical Network Terminal TP-Link XZ000-G7 1-Port Gigabit SC/APC
The TP-Link XZ000-G7 1-Port Gigabit SC/APC Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is a compact device that supports GPON and EPON access for Fiber-to-the-Home deployments. Equipped with one PON port and one Gigabit Ethernet port, it complies with ITU-T G.984 GPON standards and delivers downstream rates up to 2.488 Gbps and upstream rates up to 1.244 Gbps. The unit uses an SC/APC fiber connector and operates on 9 V DC, 0.6 A power.
The XZ000-G7 provides high-speed GPON service and gigabit Internet access in a single-port ONT, combining GPON and EPON compatibility for flexible deployment. Its design supports smooth VoIP and HD video streaming thanks to robust forwarding capabilities, and the SC/APC connector ensures reliable fiber coupling. The device meets RoHS requirements for material compliance.
Connect the incoming fiber cable to the SC/APC PON port and secure the fiber connection. Attach a single Ethernet cable from the Gigabit Ethernet port to the customer premises equipment (PC, router, or VoIP adapter). Power the unit with a 9 V DC, 0.6 A adapter and wait for the ONT to synchronize with the service provider’s OLT. Configure any required network settings through the operator’s provisioning process or local management interface as instructed by your service provider.
Install the ONT in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and physical strain on the fiber cable. Use the SC/APC fiber connector and compatible patch cords to maintain optimal signal quality, and follow your ISP’s provisioning steps for secure and correct activation.
