Unmanaged Switch Trendnet TI-PG541
The TRENDnet TI-PG541 is an unmanaged IP30-rated PoE+ DIN-rail switch designed for industrial environments. It provides four Gigabit PoE+ ports (ports 1–4, IEEE 802.3at), one additional Gigabit RJ-45 port, one SFP slot and a total PoE power budget of 120 W. The switch supports full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet, an 8000-entry MAC address table and a 12 Gbit/s switching capacity, and complies with relevant IEEE networking standards.
The TI-PG541 offers hardened components for extreme temperature and vibration conditions, dual redundant power inputs with overload current protection for high availability, and an alarm output that can signal primary or redundant power failure. Its unmanaged design simplifies installation while delivering reliable power over Ethernet to connected devices.
Mount the TI-PG541 on a standard DIN rail in a suitable enclosure or control cabinet. Connect the primary and redundant DC power sources to the switch power inputs (power adapter or power supplies sold separately). Attach network devices to the Gigabit RJ-45 and PoE+ ports; PoE-enabled devices will receive power automatically up to the available 120 W budget. Use the SFP slot for fiber uplink when required. Configure connected devices as needed; the switch operates as an unmanaged L2 device and requires no configuration.
Install the switch in an environment consistent with its IP30 rating and industrial specifications, ensure combined PoE power draw from connected devices does not exceed the 120 W budget, and connect redundant power sources to maintain continuous operation in case of a power input failure.
