Tabletop router Trendnet TI-W100 Dual-band 9000 Mbit/s Black
The Trendnet TI-W100 tabletop router delivers dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 performance with an aggregate maximum throughput of up to 9000 Mbit/s. Designed for home and small office environments, the router combines high wireless speeds on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with wired Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for stable wired connections. External antennas with 3.5 dBi gain improve signal coverage across typical indoor layouts while a compact tabletop form factor simplifies placement.
The TI-W100 supports simultaneous dual‑band operation to reduce interference and optimise throughput for multiple devices. Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces provide low‑latency wired links for desktops, consoles or networked storage. External 3.5 dBi antennas help extend reliable wireless coverage, and the tabletop design offers straightforward setup and flexible positioning. The router’s combination of wireless and wired connectivity makes it suitable for mixed device environments.
Place the router on a flat tabletop in a central location to optimise indoor coverage. Connect the router to your internet gateway or modem using the WAN port, then connect wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports as needed. Use the web-based setup wizard or the device’s management interface to configure wireless SSIDs, security settings and network passwords. Position the external antennas vertically for general coverage and adjust orientation if specific dead zones require attention.
For best performance, assign devices that need higher throughput (streaming devices, gaming consoles, NAS) to the 5 GHz band and leave background or IoT devices on 2.4 GHz. Keep the router away from large metal objects and sources of electromagnetic interference, and place it elevated rather than inside closed cabinets.
