The Manfrotto 200 PL is a compact aluminium quick-release plate designed to mount cameras to compatible Manfrotto heads and accessories equipped with RC2/Q2 attachments. With lightweight construction and small dimensions, the plate can remain attached to the camera without significantly increasing weight or bulk. A rubber grip secures the camera and helps maintain precise positioning during adjustments and movement.

How to use

Place the 200 PL plate under the camera and rotate the finger-operated flip to lock the plate to the camera base; no tools are required. If the camera requires a different screw thread, fit the supplied 3/8” adapter to the plate before attaching. Slide the plate into the compatible Manfrotto RC2/Q2 clamp on your head or accessory until it clicks or is secured by the clamp mechanism. For camcorders, insert the provided anti-rotation pin to prevent rotation during recording.

Usage recommendations

Keep the plate’s rubber grip clean and free of debris to maintain secure contact with the camera base. Confirm the flip-lock and clamp are fully engaged before operating the camera, and use the anti-rotation pin with camcorders or heavier setups for added stability.
