Yeastar 4*BRI ports gateway/controller 10, 100 Mbit/s
Yeastar 4*BRI ports gateway/controller 10, 100 Mbit/s is a compact standalone VoIP BRI gateway designed to connect ISDN BRI lines with IP-based telephony systems. The device provides four BRI interfaces and supports common voice codecs and network protocols to enable reliable voice transport between public ISDN networks and SIP-based IP PBX systems. It accepts universal AC input voltage and delivers a regulated 12 V DC output for device operation, while its small footprint allows installation in limited-space environments.
The gateway supports multiple voice codecs including G.711, G.722, G.726 and G.729A, enabling interoperability with a wide range of endpoints and ensuring efficient bandwidth use. Network compatibility includes Ethernet at 10/100 Mbit/s and adherence to IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standards for predictable connectivity. SIP (RFC3261) support and transport options such as UDP, TCP, TLS and SRTP provide flexible signaling and optional media protection. Device dimensions and compact power supply make it suitable for rack, shelf or desktop placement in office environments.
Install the gateway in a suitable location with access to both the ISDN BRI lines and your LAN. Connect the AC power source to the device and verify the 12 V DC output. Use the web-based GUI to configure TE/NT operation modes, SIP account settings, codec priorities and network parameters. Map BRI channels to SIP trunks or extensions according to your call routing plan and test inbound and outbound call flows. Apply security settings such as TLS and SRTP where required and save the configuration.
For reliable operation, place the gateway in a ventilated area and ensure stable mains power. Keep firmware up to date to maintain interoperability and security. When integrating with an IP PBX, verify codec and DTMF settings on both sides to avoid audio or signaling issues. Use TLS and SRTP if supported by your PBX and SIP trunk provider to protect signaling and media streams.
