Self-inking date stamp Trodat 4817 with 12 fields, 8 mm imprint
Self-inking date stamp Trodat 4817 with 12 fields, 8 mm imprint
Self-inking date stamp Trodat 4817 with 12 fields and an 8 mm imprint is a compact office tool designed for repetitive dating tasks. The built-in ink pad automatically re-inks the rubber die, enabling thousands of clear impressions before replacement. Adjustable rubber bands let you set day, month and year entries across 12 selectable fields, producing a neat 8 mm high date imprint suitable for paperwork, incoming mail, invoices and archival marking.
The Trodat 4817 combines compact dimensions with a durable self-inking mechanism that reduces the need for frequent manual inking. Its 12-field configuration offers quick switching between preset date positions while the 8 mm imprint size ensures legibility on standard documents. The integrated pad is user-replaceable, keeping maintenance straightforward and minimizing downtime during routine office use.
Set the date by rotating the rubber bands to the desired day, month and year positions using the embossed digits on the bands as a guide. Position the stamp squarely on the document surface and press down evenly until the mechanism completes the imprint. The self-inking system will automatically re-ink the die between impressions. Replace the integrated ink pad when impressions start to fade, following the manufacturer’s instructions for pad removal and insertion.
Use on flat, clean paper surfaces for best results and store the stamp horizontally when not in use to preserve ink distribution. For less frequent use or longer storage, perform a few test impressions on scrap paper before stamping important documents to ensure consistent legibility.
